PennLUG March Meeting: Saturday, March 7
Address has been sent out via email.
11 to whenever. Lunch will be served, but bring snacks if there’s anything in particular you want.
We have three small dogs. They are pretty hypoallergenic, but let me know if you have any concerns about it.
Now, for the build challenge: The theme for the March meeting will be Space Exploration.
I have been thinking a lot about the history of space flight lately. This may be from playing too much Kerbal Space Program, but whatever the cause, I would like to see MOCs that explore the idea of space exploration. What I am particularly thinking of are space MOCs with a touch of realism. It could be a model of a historical spacecraft or satellite, or an original idea. The first manned Mars lander; a house on the moon; a space station – anything you can think of that might represent our past present and, let’s say, relatively near future, in space. Everyone present will vote for their favorite, and I will have a trophy for the winner, so get building!
Lastly a reminder that dues for subscribing members are due at the March meet payable to Brian Brister.
The PennLUG February 7th 2015 Meeting will be hosted by Cale in York, PA. More details will be sent out soon.
For this meeting I’m proposing a build challenge. The theme for the challenge will be Trees. You can build a single awesome tree, an entire forest (maybe a forest from an alien world) or interpret in any way you want. As long as it is tree related. There will of course be a trophy for the best MOC voted on by the club. So start growing those trees.

Wow time flies. Brickfair was amazing event it, PennLUG had a lot of fun based on what I see. (I was not able to attend personally). As we all get back to work, etc and unpack. The August Meeting is upon us. With lots of fun events on the horizon it should be a busy meeting.
Details for the meeting were sent out a few days ago. (I know I’m late writing this). If you need them please contact me or visit the forums/facebook/twitter/ etc and let us know.
Build Challenge is “Games” which should prove interesting!
Build on!
