Hello Everyone
My apologies for sending this out late.
Our September meeting will be held on Sunday the 6th in conjunction with our annual Labor Day party at my house.
Every year on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend we hold a large party at my house for all our friends and family. This year we have decided to combine this with our September PennLUG meeting. Many of you have attended in the past but for those who haven’t we will have plenty of food to eat, burgers, hot dogs, and all the other usual summer cookout fair. We’ll have canopies set up for shade and a few trees to sit under as well. Bring a chair along. Bring the whole family along, kids and spouses are welcome and bring some MOCs to as there will be plenty of people to see your creations.
Meeting starts at 11am but you’re welcome to show up earlier. Food is usually ready around 12:30/1pm.
Address has been sent out in our meeting email. If you haven’t received it let me know.
Please RSVP if you are coming and if you are bringing anyone along.

The next meeting for PennLUG is July 18th. Hosted by Learning with Bricks at their HQ. Start time is 10 AM as usual. Additional festivities are planned for the evening hours. Please visit the forum or Facebook group for more details.
“Everything is awesome” at Franklin Square for a special FREE screening of the hit film The Lego Movie! Bring your blankets and chairs and view this larger-than-life movie on the big outdoor screen.
Movie admission is free. Tickets required for Philly Mini Golf and the Parx Liberty Carousel.
. A lot is going on within PennLUG group. We had a very successful showing at Linglestown a few weekends ago. We just had our June meeting at the LWB HQ which went very well. — Our July meeting looks to be held by LWB HQ again so it sure to be a fun time!
. Upcoming on the horizon is BRICKWORLD Chicago! Which I know the group has some amazing new builds and things to show off. It’s sure to be a grand event and display. Obviously this event is a little bit away from our home turf but it’s one of the larger central gathering of ‘FOLs. If your able to attend I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Wow time flies. Brickfair was amazing event it, PennLUG had a lot of fun based on what I see. (I was not able to attend personally). As we all get back to work, etc and unpack. The August Meeting is upon us. With lots of fun events on the horizon it should be a busy meeting.
Details for the meeting were sent out a few days ago. (I know I’m late writing this). If you need them please contact me or visit the forums/facebook/twitter/ etc and let us know.
Build Challenge is “Games” which should prove interesting!
The PennLUG trailer is packed and everything is ready for set up tomorrow at the Greenberg train show in York, PA. It’s not the biggest display we’ll do this year but it’s one that means a lot to me. It’s my home town and many of my friends and family who don’t normally get to see our layouts come out. I also have a deep appreciation for the history of York and many of my LEGO models have some type of historical significance to the area. It’s great to display them in front of some one who may actually know what they are. I hope the some of my friends reading this can make it out this weekend. See you there.
Jan 11th and 12th.
