Hello Everyone
My apologies for sending this out late.
Our September meeting will be held on Sunday the 6th in conjunction with our annual Labor Day party at my house.
Every year on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend we hold a large party at my house for all our friends and family. This year we have decided to combine this with our September PennLUG meeting. Many of you have attended in the past but for those who haven’t we will have plenty of food to eat, burgers, hot dogs, and all the other usual summer cookout fair. We’ll have canopies set up for shade and a few trees to sit under as well. Bring a chair along. Bring the whole family along, kids and spouses are welcome and bring some MOCs to as there will be plenty of people to see your creations.
Meeting starts at 11am but you’re welcome to show up earlier. Food is usually ready around 12:30/1pm.
Address has been sent out in our meeting email. If you haven’t received it let me know.
Please RSVP if you are coming and if you are bringing anyone along.

. A lot is going on within PennLUG group. We had a very successful showing at Linglestown a few weekends ago. We just had our June meeting at the LWB HQ which went very well. — Our July meeting looks to be held by LWB HQ again so it sure to be a fun time!
. Upcoming on the horizon is BRICKWORLD Chicago! Which I know the group has some amazing new builds and things to show off. It’s sure to be a grand event and display. Obviously this event is a little bit away from our home turf but it’s one of the larger central gathering of ‘FOLs. If your able to attend I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Nate Brill will be hosting our March meeting on Saturday the 7th. Here are some details from him.
PennLUG March Meeting: Saturday, March 7
Address has been sent out via email.
11 to whenever. Lunch will be served, but bring snacks if there’s anything in particular you want.
We have three small dogs. They are pretty hypoallergenic, but let me know if you have any concerns about it.
Now, for the build challenge: The theme for the March meeting will be Space Exploration.
I have been thinking a lot about the history of space flight lately. This may be from playing too much Kerbal Space Program, but whatever the cause, I would like to see MOCs that explore the idea of space exploration. What I am particularly thinking of are space MOCs with a touch of realism. It could be a model of a historical spacecraft or satellite, or an original idea. The first manned Mars lander; a house on the moon; a space station – anything you can think of that might represent our past present and, let’s say, relatively near future, in space. Everyone present will vote for their favorite, and I will have a trophy for the winner, so get building!
Lastly a reminder that dues for subscribing members are due at the March meet payable to Brian Brister.
See you there.
