Greetings everyone! The information for the October 3rd Virtual meeting have been sent out and are also posted on the forums for review. The time was moved up slightly to 11 am ET from 12 (noon). I know BrickCon is happening at the same time as well.
Everyone stay safe and I hope to see you at the meeting.
Greetings everyone! I spoke with Cale and for right now the usual picnic meeting is cancelled and rescheduled for 2021 due to safety concerns for all. Therefor we’ll be holding the meeting on Saturday the 5th at Noon ET hosted via Zoom. The meeting End time is open and can remain open for as long as members wish to participate.
Build Challenge: Show and Tell something you’ve built during quarantine or recently that you’d like to show off. There is no requirement to do this but in the spirit of fun and sharing everyone is encouraged to share. We’re still getting the setup submission part squared away for future meetings.
Last meeting we also had discussions on focus and moving forward. See the PennLUG Rolling Meeting Agenda (Google Doc)
We look forward to getting together and continuing the discussion as well as seeing the builds.
PennLUG members and followers; we’re currently voting on the next digital platform to try out for our virtual meetings. Please visit the forum and cast your selection. Meeting details will be sent via forum, and email, Facebook, etc. This is for the August 1st Meeting which is on the calendar but meeting details will be added after the vote completes.
Greetings builders. I hope everyone is staying safe and following the guidelines put forth for social distancing. If you are lucky you’re having more time with family and maybe even building a little.
Due to the COVID-19 virus and restrictions on gatherings of 10 or more persons it maybe prudent to cancel the April in person meeting. This is still an ongoing discussion on Discord for this other LUGs have cancelled meetings as well.
Additional updates will be sent out via email when plans are finalized. Google Hangouts, or Zoom are options so we can stay connected and video chat, etc. We have a large presence on Facebook groups as well and of course our forums. So we can all stay in touch.
I’ll post again once we know more. For now Stay safe, keep building and washy washy your hands!
Our March meeting is coming up. Sam Tauser will be hosting on the 7th starting at the normal 11am time. The address has been sent out with the meeting email. If you have not received, please let us know.
